JSON Formatter is a free online converter. JSON beautify, minify and validate tool. Convert files and values in just a few seconds. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
After pasting the SON string, the tool automatically verifies that the syntax is correct. If correct, you can choose to beautify (add dents and line entanglements) or compress (remove all white space) the output. The beautified version supports syntax highlighting, and key names, strings, numbers and boolean values are distinguished by different colors. You can also switch to tree view to expand or collapse nested objects.
SON parsing uses the native JSON.parse, and the format is achieved through JSON.stringify with embedded parameters. The tree view transforms SON into an interactive Dom structure, and each node can be collapsed. Click a value to copy its SON path (for example, data.users[0].Name).
