After uploading the AVIF file, the tool first decodes it into bitmap data, then reduces the number of colors through color quantization, then tracks the outline of each color area, and finally generates a JPEG carrier image composed of path elements. You can adjust the number of colors and smoothness parameters.

The process is essentially bitmap vectorization, and algorithms include median segmentation color quantization, Marching Squares contour tracking, and path simplification (Douglas-Peucker algorithm). All of this runs locally in the browser and no pictures are uploaded.

Suitable for converting AVIF format icons and logos into JPEG carrier images that can be enlarged infinitely. It is also used to transform photo-style AVIF illustrations into carrier material. Please note that the conversion effect of complex photos may not be ideal and is more suitable for graphics with clear color blocks.
