EXIF Viewer is a free online tool. Read and display EXIF metadata and DPI from JPG/PNG.
After uploading an image, the tool parses EXIF (Exchangeable Image File) metadata embedded in the file and displays all available information in a tabular format. Includes camera make and model, lens parameters, shooting time, shutter speed, aperture value, ISO sensitivity, focal length, white balance and GPS latitude and longitude (if supported by the device).
EXIF data is a block of Meta information written to a JPEG/Tiff file by the camera when taking pictures. Parsing is done completely locally in the browser, using JavaScript to read EXIF tag segments in file binary data without having to upload any files.
It is suitable for photography enthusiasts to review the shooting parameters of photos to learn, or verify whether the photos have been post-processed. You can also check the original shooting time of the picture, which is more reliable than the file modification time.
The online EXIF information viewer reads the shooting parameters of the picture (camera model, shutter, aperture, ISO, GPS, etc.), and the browser will interpret it locally and will not upload it.
