Live Photo to GIF is a free online tool. Convert an iPhone Live Photo into a GIF.
Upload a Live Photo file (usually a Movie video or a HEIC + Movie combination), and the tool extracts the video portion and decodes it into a sequence of frames, which then encodes it into a GIF animation. Frame rate, size and quality can be adjusted.
The video portion of Live Photo is usually a 3-second Movie file. The tool uses video elements to decode on the browser side, captures frames through Canvas and encodes them into GIF. All are processed locally and no files are uploaded.
Suitable for converting real-time photos taken by iPhone into GIF and sharing them on platforms that do not support real-time photos. It is also used to extract dynamic effects from Live Photos to create emoticons.
