Video Frame Extractor is a free online tool. Capture frames from a video at chosen positions and export as images.
After uploading a video file, the tool displays the video Timeline and preview window. You can manually drag the progress bar to select a specific time point to extract single frames, or you can set intervals (for example, extract one frame every 5 seconds) to extract in batches. Supports extracting all frames of the entire video, or frames within a specified time range.
Frame extraction uses HTML5 video elements and Canvas API. Search the video to the specified time, and then use Canvas 'drawImage method to capture the current frame. You can set the resolution, format (PNG lossless, JPEG lossy compression) and quality parameters of the output picture.
Suitable for making video screenshots, GIF animation materials, video analysis reports or extracting wonderful moments. Processing is completely done locally in the browser and no video files will be uploaded. Supports common video formats such as MP4, WebM and Movie.
